FAQ
Frequently askedquestions.
What is a gap domain?
A site cited in answers that don't mention your brand. If assistants rely on it to recommend competitors, being present there is likely to help you.
Do all assistants cite sources?
Not equally. Perplexity and Google AI Overviews cite a lot, ChatGPT cites when it searches the web, and some answers come with no link at all.
Can I see the exact pages, not just the domains?
Yes. Each domain opens on the list of pages cited, with their titles.
How do I know which gap site to work on first?
Source analytics gives each site a gap score from 0 to 100, labels page types and has dedicated Reddit, YouTube and G2 tabs. It's included in Pro, while the free plan shows the top 2 cited sources.
